Cookie Paddles:
Cookie Paddles should only be used with a metal whip driver.
Cookie paddles must be correctly attached to whip drive to avoid any problems. Push paddles on drive piece until you hear a click or feel them snap into place. Paddles are not fully engaged until you hear that sound.
Always use cookie paddles when mixing cookie dough. Thicker dough may bend wire whips.
For light mashed potatoes put cookie paddles or wire whips in Bosch bowl. Add fully cooked, drained potatoes, melted butter, warm milk, salt and pepper. Jog “M” (momentary) for a few seconds to break down. Then whip on speed 2 or 3 until desired consistency is achieved.
Use cookie paddles to make piecrust. Dough consistency should be like popped popcorn.
Never cream or whip frozen butter. The Bosch motor is so strong cookie paddles or wire whips may break if resistance is too great.
